Like any large-scale plan, there were certain bugs in the National Emergency Action Plan (NEAP) 2011 for polio eradication. These bugs were removed from time to time, and finally in November 2011, it was revised and augmented by Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani. The year 2012 will see a major drop in the incidence of polio in Pakistan, and the day is not far when we will join the community of polio-free countries in the world.
