Nigeria: 25 Fresh Wild Polio Cases Discovered in Northern States.
Minna — Statistics indicated last Wednesday that there were 25 fresh
cases of wild polio virus discovered in the country, the World Health
Organization (WHO) Consultant on Vaccine, Security and Logistics, Bolagi
Buari has announced.
The consultant made the disclosure yesterday while delivering his
address during the flag off of the fifth round of Immunization Plus Days
(IPDs) in Tagena, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, saying
polio virus fresh cases were found in nine northern states of the
country.
