GHALLANAI: The health authorities in Mohmand Agency on Tuesday sacked 12 workers of the anti-polio drive. Taking exception to their alleged negligence, Agency Surgeon Dr Mohammad Daud relieved 12 staffers of the Health Department for throwing away the anti-polio vaccine instead of administering it to children in Mamad Gat, Qillagai, Ghanam Shah and Masood areas in Safi tehsil. The erring health workers included four field supervisors, Tahir Khan, Akbar Ali, Asmatullah and Nawab Khan.
